Traditional Calligraphy
With over thirty-five years of artistic practice, Muhammad Azeem Iqbal has dedicated his career to preserving and reimagining the rich tradition of Islamic calligraphy. Renowned for his distinctive style, his work draws inspiration from the earliest forms of Qur'anic calligraphy, thoughtfully incorporating traditional materials and techniques to honour centuries of artistic heritage. His calligraphic works have been exhibited both in Pakistan and internationally, presented to numerous Heads of State, and are held in prestigious institutions including the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), Lok Virsa Museum, and the National Monument Museum. Alongside his artistic practice, he has spent more than two decades mentoring the next generation of calligraphers. Every artwork reflects exceptional craftsmanship, history and a lifelong commitment to preserving the enduring legacy of Islamic art.
